Satellite is the 4th album from Graham Richardson's Last Days. Richardson who is now well known for his cinematic electro-acoustic pieces that effortlessly invoke an almost inconceivably tangible imagery has this time around turned ever inward for Satellite's core inspiration. While Richardson credits the album with certain personal themes in tow he's more apt to let the listener gather their own meaning of the album's affinity of satellite and stars. The song New Transmission features vocals by Beth Arzy (Aberdeen, Trembling Blue Stars) and could very well sum up the album's apex while delivering the most pop affected Last Days song to date. Vion marks Lorenzo Montanà's 29th full-length album as an Italian soundtrack composer, engineer, and producer. This album represents his debut solo project for n5MD, an emotive electronics label based in Oakland. Initially sparked by Montanà's desire to experiment with jazz brush drum patterns, Vion gradually evolved into a diverse exploration of musical styles. This journey led to a fusion of ought-era experimental electronica elements and immersive ambient textures, expanding the album's sonic palette.

Montanà's music is characterized by a constant sense of motion and evolution, with intricate details that seldom remain static. The interplay between brushed drums and innovative production techniques lends Vion a unique blend of lightness and melancholic undertones. This release showcases Montanà's artistic growth beyond his previous ambient works, offering a cross-section of his electronic music endeavors thus far.

Vion will be available on transparent red vinyl starting May 24th, inviting listeners into Montanà's rich musical landscapes.

5ilth is album number five from Belgian experimental electronic music duo Suumhow. The album is the follow-up to the previously hidden, full-length Extra Failed Items. 5ilth finds the duo pushing their digital grittiness to new heights. Suumhow experimented with the limits of folding audio into analog video equipment for the album, then further pushing the aural boundaries within the digital realm. As the title suggests, the sonics on 5ilth can be incredibly filthy, often recalling the pixelated equivalent of a sand storm or locust plague. These monolithic moments of clipping and swirling 1s and 0s give way to warmer flashes of analog respite, and in some cases, the clipping itself is somehow shimmeringly melodic. As with their previous efforts, 5ilth does have its share of glitchy distorted beatwork that pushes and pulls the listener through the squall. It's a gratifying listen with equal parts: tribunal and reprieve and hold and release. 5lth is out on October 25th on ultra clear vinyl, limited to 250 units worldwide.
