Been jamming with a buddy of mine for a while and recently he bought a Djembe (an African drum). We did this recording session at my place the day before my birthday. The live Djembe/Guitar tracks are the last recordings in my 20's...overdubs are the first recordings in my 30's.
Never mind all that, it's just been alot of fun jammin'!

This was part of a forgotten story I never told. Damned if I could remember what it was all about, but I think I was mostly just farting around. Putting my voice through a flanger &amp; distorting the piss out of it. Fun stuff that'll probably be listened to once &amp; dismissed as "too weird" for commercial ears. But this was stuff I liked to do. So, here it is....

N8 - Whipped Creme Giraffes & Other Delights

Just a short instrumental of an old Rush song. This was recovered from an OLD-SCHOOL hard drive and is among my earliest of digital multi-track recordings. 

The original album "Caress Of Steel" captivated my young teenage imagination as I would sit out underneath a tree with my headphones & listen to the entire thing over & over. It was a great early source of inspiration & I would sit on the edge of my bed trying to figure out these songs on my old acoustic guitar.

An old crazy long one that I did myself one night in Oct. 2004. Ran a Hi-Hat & a floor-tom through the old trusy Flanger. Kept time decent enough to throw down a spirted bass track in B-flat over the top of that. Layered a vamp of blues lead. Clean & loud. Flipped the tape over & added the strange percussion effects while hearing the rest backwards. This is the resultant tune from the original 4-track stereo mixdown.
