This is a live recording of a set I played in the forest for Tropical's  Bring Love Back to Oregon Summer Campout in June 2022.

I was filling in on late notice for a DJ who was unable to make it, so this set is 100% on the fly. 

Wiggles were in order, as the lineup was all dance music - I had a lot of fun bringing my version of wiggles to this set.

Initiated to the decks by her beloved Moontribe community in 2005, Maggie has gone on to play events for other cool crews like Green Sector, Tropical and the Do Lab. This collection of atmospheric deepstep tracks is further along on the continuum of the Subtextures compilation that I put together for Interchill Records back in 2016. It took a few years to assemble and was made for the digital artist Android Jones (www.androidjones.com) who generously let us use a piece of his phenomenal art for the Subtextures cover design. 

Respect and praises to all of the artists and labels who put out such wickedly chill tunes. Much gratitude to J. Job for the finishing touches.

Bwoy de Bhajan - Live set at Goulash Disko Festival 2018

The hum and buzz of summer permeates Bwoy de Bhajan’s streams of challenging but pleasant sounds. The promising producer has a penchant for World Music, but at the same time clearly influenced by Western electronica of the more experimental kind. Despite the drowsy groove of the music, this music has plenty of delicate touches, edgy beats, wonky bass lines and Eastern mystique to get lost in. He is only 20 years of age, but has already sent many crowds into deep hypnosis, and shared the stage with artists varying from Tokimonsta and Daedelus, to Omar Souleyman, Spoek Mathambo or Madlib. He was a nominee for 'Hope of the Year' at last years Steppeulven (Critics) Awards in Denmark.
