Originally produced in ambisonic format for Catharsis at Burning Man 2022, I've rendered these tracks in binaural format for yearlong enjoyment in headphones without all the dust.

1: bodies in motion (14:30)
Are you aware of the body in which you dream? Perhaps the ever-shifting forms we take on in our subconscious are more representative of our true selves than our perception of the physical bodies we occupy. Consistency and stillness are an illusion. Even if our bodies hold a seemingly separate form to survive, the exchange between inside and out is never-ending – so where do our bodies really begin and end? Our existence depends perfectly on the existence of everything else, and maybe our dream-bodies show us that truth clearly. Can you feel your perceived edges blur as you move?

2: astrological blur (12:48)
If the moon pulls the tides of the ocean, does the sun pull the flow of our dreams? Our logic is but an attempt to capture the way the universe operates, imperfect, incomplete, and evolving. If everything simply flickers in and out of the void at the speed of light, can you feel these vibrations alter your patterns of being?

"Catharsis, the amphiteater and fractal gallery of Black Rock City located in the hear of its civic hub at Burning Man 2022, was designed by Arthur Mamou-Mani and will be the first home of Antematter, a 14.3 third order ambisonic sound installation that brings forth an immersive audio experience. During the day, participants will explore, co-create the art gallery, and experience the soundscape emanating from the core of the amphitheater."
