KOOKOO RECORDS continues their summer rollout with George Smeddles’ remix of Indeep’s classic song “Last Night A D.J Saved My Life”. This remix gives the classic tune a new sound with upbeat house drums that give it an infectious danceable feel. The song features bright guitars paired with Réjane "Reggie" Magloire’s vocals working in unison with George’s drums. The track is an accurate showcasing of George’s sound: rhythmical with a distinguished house flair layered with soulful vocals.

George is a committed performer with an impressive resume that spans the world over. Among the ever-growing list of his most notable appearances are: Fabric in London, Amnesia in Ibiza, CRSSD Festival and Glastonbury to name a few.

The essential record from Ben Westbeech and KON's The Vision project dominated stages around the world, receiving support from a plethora of top house artists; Gerd Janson, Danny Krivit, Horse Meat Disco, The Blessed Madonna, Groove Armada and Eli Escobar to name just a few. 

'Heaven' went on to be remixed by Nightmares On Wax and Mousse T., cementing The Vision as ones to watch in the coming years. Now, one of the UK's most respected and diverse house DJs and producers Groove Assassin takes on the debut release, featuring MOBO nominated artist and Westbeech's longtime collaborator Andreya Triana. The prolific selector, remixer and producer interpolates warmly familiar music from house legends to form 'Hallelujah In Heaven', a stomping, rough cut of house and an example of excellence in the genre.
