Multifaceted Spanish DJ/producer AFFKT has been a man on a mission for some years now. That mission of course, is to emit quality-strewn house and techno - regardless of whether that's through his own wares or through that of his label, Sincopat. In the case of fellow Spaniard Piek, it's most definitely mission complete, as the sometime Cecille and Paulatine producer delivers with stunning conviction for Sincopat on the WYWFM EP.
''What you Want from Me'' is the first of the two originals, a thoroughbred hark back to minimal, percussive planes that's reminiscent of the sub-genre's finest moments. The spiky vocals are playful yet menacing, chilled-out yet ominous and when matched with the gentle groove and anticipated melodies, they meld with the sort of assured manner that suggests this one will be a sure fire winner on the floor. Then, label boss AFFKT keeps
hold of the aforementioned melody, using it as the spine of his gentle, albeit more kick- prominent interpretation. Expert stuff.
The track Insorit introduces proceedings thanks to a weighty, watertight groove and a barrage of sultry vocals that will see it tie in with summer time madness. Drenched in reverb and heavy claps, it's a delightful battle weapon with which to get the party started. Cecille mainstay Marc Scholl then beefs up the original considerably, as he adds a forceful groove to the heady equation on his subtly titled 'Glory Hole' re-working.

Rebelde Silueta de Nsue es uno de esos discos que todo digger que se precie desearía tener en su colección. Producido en Madrid en 1990 por Ram J e influenciado por bandas de la época como Snap y Technotronic, pasó desaparcibido la mayor parte de su vida hasta que, recientemente, ha vuelto a sonar en la fiestas más gamberras de todo el globo. 
Además se acaba de incluir en el magnífico recopilatorio de Soundway Records llamado Ritmo Fantasía, que repasa y rescata joyas hechas en España entre finales de los 80 y comienzos de los 90.

Aquí lo tienes arreglado y adaptado para la pista de baile. Sonando como un tiro y con la estructura perfecta para que lo pinches en cada sesión.

Ry X released his second album a few weeks ago and I decided to finally rework and remaster the remix I did back in 2013 of his masterpiece "Berlin".
I've had so many requests to release it during all these years, but I wasn't 100% sure about the work i did then. However, the remix brings me some beautiful memories of a very special trip to Berlin that year and now, with those little fixes here and there, is the right moment to put it out.

Diving in the internet I found this amazing artist based in New York called JKNART who makes acrylic pieces based on songs. The artwork for this release is the one she did for "Berlin"

I hope you enjoy it and if you like it, play it LOUD. Yes, LOUD!

Hace tiempo que sigo la carrera de Villano Antillano y, además de su talento, me parece una figura única y necesaria dentro de la industria.

Cuando lanzó Mala Mía junto al productor argentino Bizarrap vi la posibilidad de hacer una versión más club influenciada por el movimiento Hip House de principios de los 90. Tanto el tempo, como el flow del tema original son perfectamente extrapolables al Hip House, así que el mix se siente súper natural. 

Como siempre, he intentado mantener la escencia del tema original adaptándolo lo justo para que funcione dentro de un contexto de club y que así sea fácil de pinchar en cualquier contexto. En este caso me he basado en "Voi" -una bomba de relojería de mi compañero cántabro Yenk- para construir el remix y el resultado es puro fuego para la hora punta en la pista de baile.

Motiv 8 fue el proyecto del productor británico Steve Rodway.
Latente durante la época de los 90, se convirtió en uno de los referentes del sonido Eurodance en UK, llegando a remezclar hits de St Etienne, Pulp o incluso las Spice Girls

Este Rockin' For Myself salió en 1993 calcando el sonido del momento de formaciones como Urban Cookie Collective, pero pasó sin pena ni gloria. De hecho en España solo llegó a licenciarse en un recopilatorio (Zona de Baile 6). Lo cierto es que, aún así, el tema tiene hooks que son puro fuego y la voz de Angie Brown, conocida por sus trabajos con Bizarre Inc, es maravillosa. Por eso he querido remezclarlo y actualizarlo otorgándole una merecida segunda vida.

This time I wanted to bring back to life one of the first house anthems ever: the mighty 'Good Life' by Kevin Saunderson's project Inner Life.
This club ready version is based on Steve Silk Hurley's remix and as always, the pitch has been fixed, the structure re-arranged, the beat re-constructed and everything has been remastered for DJ's to have fun.

PIEK is one of the most restless and prolific artists to have emerged in Spain in recent times. Nacho has turned his hometown of Elizondo into the headquarters of his own kingdom, built on good vibes and expertise. His passion for dance music is varied and eclectic, with a precise and selective mastery of a multitude of styles.
You’ve been listening to PIEK for longer than you think. A record collector since childhood, a DJ with over 1,000 gigs in his 20 year career, and a producer with releases on prestigious labels like Fabric, Balance, Defected, OM Records and, more recently, Toy Tonics or Ubiquity.

Named “artist to watch” by the SoundCloud team in 2013 and awarded “Album of the Year” by DJMag Spain in 2017 for Despertar—an album also recognized as one of the most important Spanish records of the decade by the influential YouTube channel Music Radar Clan. He’s also a seasoned music producer for advertising agencies in cities like New York and Hamburg, with music featured on TV, radio stations, clubs, festivals, and events like the Latin Grammy Awards.

Since 2023, he’s been running his own label alongside Rapha Mundi: Buenobueno Discos. Through this imprint, he unveiled “Celebrate”—his highly anticipated second studio album, showcasing a bold evolution of his sound.
