R.I.P. Bestia, co-founder along with Ático Corp. of the UFC label, is back with his third Ep and the label’s sixth release. A risky work but at the same time motivating when it comes to seeking the fusion of ancestral sounds and avant-garde electronic. On side A we find Ancient Subatomic Voyage (Original Trance Mix), a track that mixes the influences of Psychedelic Trance from the early 90s with the strength of current Progressive Techno to immerse you in an astral journey. On the same side you will find SubQuantum Levitation (Original Mix), a levitating projection driven by the force of emotional hardcore that will elevate your body and mind to an orbit of unknown origin. On the other flip, we are proud to have a visionary of originality such as Henry Saiz, who presents us with his remix of Ancient Subatomic Voyage (GOA Remix), a true acid and tribal odyssey accompanied by euphoric psychedelic melodies that will take you to a transcendental state of horizontal dance.

Wow! Melodica Recordings is one. To celebrate this momentous event I have sent some of our favourite releases on the label to some of our favourite artists, on the label and elsewhere, for a retake, a look back, a flash forward, a new version of the original. It's helped to make the creative family feel that I was after at the start of this process to feel real, we're all swapping ideas and tunes now, helping each other to grow and surprising each other with great new sounds.
If you enjoy these tunes don't forget to track back to the original releases, all still there on the digital stores, waiting for you with open arms. Nacho Sotomayor es uno de los pioneros de la electrónica musical en España. Su música esta allí donde este el alma de las maquinas. Sonidos digitales en empatía con el espíritu de las emociones. A través de sus diferentes proyectos ha ido dibujando paisajes sonoros, de su Andalucía a su ibicenca La Roca, de los sueños al spa sonoro de su estudio. Fuera de etiquetas, marcado por su tiempo y cuidando los detalles, los planos y el trazo fino de la música electrónica de amaneceres y de atardeceres.

Nacho Sotomayor, músico y productor de amplia trayectoria profesional y reconocimiento internacional, durante más de una década nos ha ido ofreciendo una entrega casi anual de su serie de álbumes “La Roca”. Su trabajo se ha orientado casi en su totalidad a sonidos cercanos al Ambient Chill, Downtempo, Lounge, aunque cabe destacar algunas producciones en otros ámbitos y para otros artistas.

 Imprescindible en alguna de las entregas de recopilatorios de excepción como Buddha Bar (París) o Café del Mar (Ibiza) en cuya gira mundial participó en el 2003. Actualmente también alterna su Dj residencia en Maldivas con sus Live sets por todo el mundo.

 En el 2008 recibió el Premio al Mejor tema de Música Electrónica por su tema “Untiltled for a guitar” (extraído de su álbum “Interior”, Absolut Ambient, 2008) en los XIII Premios de la Música que concede la Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias de la Música.

 Junto a Francisco Sotomayor dirigen desde hace años el sello discográfico Absolut Ambient a través del cual han desarrollado proyectos para empresas como National Geographics, Giorgo Armani o la productora Norteamericana de cine y televisión HBO (“Six feet under”).

 Mas de 15 álbumes, decenas de producciones, cientos de remixes, y numerosos proyectos en diferentes ámbitos convierten a Nacho Sotomayor en unos de los músicos más influyentes e importantes de la Música popular contemporánea tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
