Dee Diggs is a DJ and music producer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is unapologetically black, queer, and a lifelong student of the tenets of House Music. She describes herself as a lifelong ‘music-head’ and music lover. She cultivates a dance community of peers and collaborators through her parties named, House of Diggs, usually held at Public Records in Brooklyn.

"Legacy connections on the dancefloor and in the dj booth inspire me to go deeper than ever before. Usually, I can do this by tapping into a spontaneous element of playfulness that allows me to seek catharsis in the imaginative layering of sound, using intuition to connect the messages within the lyric soup of my selections and braiding them all into a story, a feeling or an atmosphere.

I'm grateful for a recording that captured the pure passionate expression and alignment of this night. I got to play Disco, House, and Soul with and for someone as esteemed as Stacey Hotwaxx Hale! This is the opening set, the opening of a portal where the soul awakens and gets to shake and dance to an ecstatic peak in the night."

I don't make ambient and I haven't seen the film and you still love me

This is a 7 part recording of my birthday party mix at Club Der Visionaere - Berlin, last summer. 
I started in the early afternoon hours and continued till late at night.
Instead of bringing my usual record bags I asked my friends to help me carry over two crates of records that may have collected some dust and a couple of scratches but had no expiration date. 
I was standing/dancing in place for hours, yet time traveling with every needle dropped.
