Legowelt is the alias of Dutch producer and electronic musician Danny Wolfers. Known for his lo-fi, analog-heavy sound, Legowelt has been a prominent figure in the underground electronic music scene since the late 1990s. His music blends elements of house, techno, electro, and ambient, often characterized by dreamy melodies and gritty textures.

Hailing from The Hague, Netherlands, Legowelt gained recognition with early releases on Bunker Records and Clone. Over the years, he has released dozens of albums and EPs under various aliases, building a cult following worldwide. Beyond music, he is also known for his visual art, software synthesizer patches, and contributions to synth culture.

Legowelt remains an influential and prolific artist, celebrated for his DIY ethos and dedication to hardware-based music production.

This mix was recorded at home during a heatwave in Amsterdam. The faint voices and warm, slightly distorted drums echo the hazy, feverish heat of humid summers in a city for me. Most of these tracks are older, have been with me for years, and I keep coming back to them. Others are more recent discoveries, found in digital back catalogues.
