Spoken is a new concept from the northern parts of the Netherlands. “We focus on selectors, groove and hard hitters. We post one set every two weeks selecting national artists, as well as international artists with experience and good taste. The rolling sound is what we’re all about and we think it is essential for the scene and the genre to keep this sound alive and kicking. They want to attract artists who share this vision and show that in their art and their music”

Benwal is a new project of two longtime friends with a mutual passion for rave, electro, breakbeat and everything in between.  They grew up in Groningen, The Netherlands and fell in love with the house and techno scene in their early teenage years. They’ve used the last couple of years to develop their own style and produce their own tracks. 

While Benwal also has a more raw and ravey side, this mix in particular focuses on their calmer and dreamier side.

He focuses on rolling beats while also keeping sets as diverse as possible by incorporating different genres and moods. For the coming night shift our resident Viénce will jump into other genres. It is probably safe to say that this pandemic has slowed each of us down in one way or the other. That’s why we will start steady but slow in 2021. Viénce will take us on a journey through jazz, from the streets of London with jazz-funk, moving to Rio de Janairo with Bossa-Nova and visiting everything in between. Viénce for the coming 60 minutes.
