In the heart of the sacred city of Makkah, a future beacon of Islamic scholarship was born in 1388 Hijrah - Sheikh Abdul Muhsin al Qasim. His early life was steeped in the rich tapestry of Islamic wisdom, drawing influence from his father's and grandfather's scholarly pursuits. His childhood home echoed with discussions inspired by the Fatwas of Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and the esteemed imams of Najd.

A natural proclivity for learning led the young Abdul Muhsin to memorize the Qur’an at an impressively tender age. His passion for knowledge sparked an illustrious journey through the world of Islamic studies, guided by some of the most renowned Shuyookh of his time. These included the likes of Sheikh Abdullah bin Humaid Rahimahullah, Abdul-Aziz bin Abd-Allah bin Baz Rahimahullah, Sheikh Salih bin Ali An-Nasir Rahimahullah, and Sheikh Al-Muhaddith Abdullah As-Sa’d.

In 1410 Hijrah, Sheikh Abdul Muhsin's academic prowess came to fruition as he graduated from the revered College of Sharia in Riyadh. Three years later, he further added to his accolades by securing a master's degree.

His scholarly journey transitioned into a promising career when he assumed the role of a judge in Riyadh and later in Tabook. His discerning judgments and unwavering dedication led him to the distinguished position of the Imam of Masjid An-Nabawi, an honor that few can claim.

But Sheikh Abdul Muhsin's contributions extended beyond the walls of mosques and courts. He has penned several books that have enriched the landscape of Islamic literature. These include insightful works like "Khutub Al-Munbariyya", "Facilitating Attainment in the Explanation of the Three Usool", "Book on Hanafi Fiqh", and "Formulated Annotation of the Masterpiece of (Scholars) in the Hanafi Fiqh".

Sheikh Abdul Muhsin al Qasim is much more than a respected Qari. He is a sagacious judge, an eloquent khateeb, and a humble individual known for his relentless pursuit of knowledge. His life and work continue to inspire students of Islamic scholarship worldwide.

Over the last 25 years, he has toured and performed across the world (Canada, United States, Mexico, South Africa, United Kingdom, Norway, Guyana, Trinidad, Mexico, Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore), in solo performances, and on tours with other internationally renowned artists.
