‘You’re Lonely’ out on Young & Lost Club on Monday 9th September 2013

Die Mason Die are the brand new group based around enigmatic 21-year-old Samuel Mason; Welsh-born, raised in Australia and now residing in London. The band will be releasing their latest single ‘You’re Lonely’ on 9th September through Young & Lost Club.

Mason began work on the band’s early material in 2011, during a six month odyssey back to Australia.  He joined 11 others on a journey from London to Sydney - aboard a customized 1958 double-decker bus - as part of a cult travel documentary, which is due for release later this year.

This early material formed the basis of the ‘Tongues in the Clamp’ EP, released last November. It features ‘Lost’, which appeared on the film soundtrack for Stephenie Meyer’s ‘The Host’. The band also appeared as a guest artist on Daniel Johnston’s recent ‘Space Ducks’ record with ‘My Favourite Cave’ alongside Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

On ‘You’re Lonely’, Mason’s unmistakable vocals move effortlessly between sparse , claustrophobic instrumentation and lush orchestration, developing the band’s blend of traditional British folk melody, 50s surf guitars and haunting atmospherics – a genre he calls ‘Ghost Folk’.

Leisure release their debut single 'Tourist' via free download on
Young & Lost's Digital Club.

Combining soulful RnB vocals and synths with a dance sensibility, the
intriguing sound of the four-piece electronic outfit from Hackney,
East London is captured in their debut single 'Tourist' - taken from their upcoming EP 'Flux'.

The track has recieved airplay on BBC radio presenter Beth Elfyn's
show on Amazing Radio and attention from independent music blogs.

Recent Leisure gigs include buzzing Young & Lost showcases at The Nest and Birthdays in Dalston supporting Snakadaktal and Being There.

Leisure have been together since 2012. Their drummer has worked with producer Romare. The rest of the band met at Leeds University where they performed in different projects alongside the likes of Alt-J and King Charles.

Leisure's next live show celebrating the single release will be at The
Nest, Hackney, on 31 August.

Yarbo releases 'Sleep Forever', the second track taken from his new EP 'Where We Can Sleep Forever', via free download on Young and Lost Club. Yarbo is a solo singer songwriter in the classic sense, taking influence from the likes of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Nick Drake. His latest offering 'Where We Can Sleep Forever' is a collaborative effort both in instrumentation and production; working closely with New York based collective Mason Jar Music (Fiest, Wood Brothers, Josh Garrels, Alicia Keys) and featuring vocals from Laura James of Laura James and The Lyres. Showing maturity in his songwriting that surpasses his age, 'Sleep Forever' encompasses the bittersweet consciousness of a northern lad who isn't afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve. Vulnerable yet powerful, 'sleep forever' is an ethereal journey into the mind of a wandering soul. Based in Liverpool, Yarbo has had a busy 12 months touring and recording in the US and playing a string of dates in the UK including opening for Nick Mulvey, Joe Banfi and Kingsfoil on their first UK London show.

in Kent, his grass roots supports continue to grow. 
Will turned 16 this summer and celebrated with a support slot for
the Rolling Stones in Hyde Park, he also supported Tom Odell 
who has been tweeting his appreciation. With  a voice full of soul 
and lyrically wise beyond his years, we're very excited to be releasing
his debut single "Catalyst" this December.
