About the EP :
Datametrik is back on the scene with a brand new sound, provided by a new hardware set and 2 crazy brains. "The Shadows" are waiting behind the door with a thin groove and a powerfull bass to attack. The dark pads is just here to remind you that you are not ALONE! To complete the team, they decided to work with 2 growing artists as "Drol." from France and "Silar" from Quebec. Two different visions of the original track with two different way to work. A darker remix is produced by Drol. with a fat bass and a dangerous atmosphere. A more melodic one by Silar, when chords are answering the fx's and the main theme. Just press play..

Die erste Podcast-Ausgabe für das Jahr 2018 bzw. Nummer 87 wurde für uns von Jonas Saalbach gemixt. Der Berliner tourt seit Jahren national wie international und ist als Produzent mit seinen Tracks oder Remixen auf Labels wie unter anderem: Moodmusic Records, Bedrock Records, Katermukke, Underyourskin Records, Chapter 24 Records, OFF Recordings und Auditive aufgefallen. Besonders erwähnt sei in diesem Zusammenhang aber das Label Einmusika Recordings, auf dem neben EPs seine Alben "Ancient Lake" und "Perspective" veröffentlicht wurden. Dort wird auch dann demnächst seine "April" EP erscheinen und wir freuen uns, dass der Titeltrack sowie "Filo" bereits in diesem Set für unsere Podcast-Reihe zu hören sind. 
Wir wünschen euch auch viel Hörvergnügen mit dem einstündigen Mix von Jonas Saalbach.

As​ ​someone​ ​who​ ​considers​ ​himself​ ​a​ ​DJ​ ​first,​ ​Oliver​ ​has​ ​an​ ​uncanny​ ​knack​ ​for​ ​finding​ ​a groove​ ​and​ ​his​ ​musicality​ ​far​ ​exceeds​ ​the​ ​normal​ ​for​ ​the​ ​genre.​ ​With​ ​international​ ​festival appearances,​ ​club​ ​nights​ ​and​ ​the​ ​new​ ​crown​ ​of​ ​Global​ ​Underground’s​ ​latest​ ​NuBreed​ ​artist, it’s​ ​safe​ ​to​ ​say​ ​Oliver​ ​Schories​ ​can​ ​deliver​ ​and​ ​deliver​ ​his​ ​does​ ​in​ ​spades.​ ​On​ ​previous albums,​ ​certain​ ​themes​ ​rise​ ​to​ ​the​ ​surface,​ ​themes​ ​of​ ​belonging,​ ​of​ ​love​ ​and​ ​of​ ​togetherness and​ ‘​Blitzbahn’ ​continues​ ​in​ ​that​ ​vein.​ ​But​ ​these​ ​are​​ ​a much​ ​more​ ​focused​ ​collection​ ​of tracks​ ​written​ ​over​ ​a​ ​mere​ ​few​ ​months​ ​in-between​ ​his​ ​hectic​ ​DJ​ ​schedule​ ​which​ ​showcase the​ ​direction​ ​his​ ​music​ ​has​ ​developed​ ​in​ ​recent​ ​years.
