➡️ About Deemkeyne
Dietrich Klassen, born in 1981 in Central Asia and emigrated to Germany at the age of 12, the creative process has been a big part of me since childhood, visual arts, poetry and later music. In the 2000s, I was drawn to electronic music, festivals, clubs, a passion for techno and house music emerged and at some point, DJing followed. After studying engineering, I became interested in sound design with more knowledge of synth construction and signal processing, and from 2015 onwards I started making my own productions by learning Ableton Live and music theory. The love for Dub Techno came late at this time. The first release in the techno underground scene followed in 2018, followed by others in the genres of melodic techno and house. From 2020 I concentrated more on Dub Techno and Deep Atmospheric Techno music, releases came out on Apnea Label, Kopoc Label, Slope Point, Insectorama, Superordinate Dub Waves, spclnch and Piranha Siberia Dub, as well as others. Last year, I also had further releases on hello strange, Mixcult, Greyscale and Lucidflow.

Resident of the esteemed Another Life parties, Jon’s productions have seen him release on high quality labels like Stripped, Crafted & Keep Thinking and his music has found it’s way into the sets of Anthony Pappa, John Digweed and many more.

The Matrix is a mean & moody percussive groover. Full of chunky perks and nagging synths lines this one is a going to get those heads nodding. On remix duties is Redspace, an absolute favourite here at Nightcolours, the prolific producer delivers a funk filled workout bringing grooviness to the Prog! Next up is Running Man, a lovely building, groovathon with added melodic goodness. Taking on the remix are Larossa, Nico Sparvieri and SACK and they have hit the jackpot with this. Deemkeyne - Long Rain [APNEA62]

I discovered electronic music in November 2022. I never understood it before. It all started with Argy's track Pantheon on IG. I played those 30 seconds on repeat hundreds of times. I googled "Argy Afterlife live", not knowing what is what. I found tickets to a "concert" in Tulum for Jan 2023 and bought them. When I arrived to Tulum, I found myself naively at the Afterlife rave. It was my first rave. And I haven't stopped raving since.

My taste ranges from peak/acid/hypnotic/minimal/melodic/ethereal techno, psytech/psytrancce, tribal house, organic house, folktronica, downtempo to sound journeys.
