Bio

Szabó István, alias Tailor vagyok. Jelenleg a szülővárosom Nyíregyháza a bázisom. A zene iránti érdeklődésem már jelen volt iskolás éveim alatt, mely iskolarádiózás és zenegyűjtés formájában valósult meg, ami az életem szerves és egyben meghatározó részét képezte és képzi. Középiskolás éveim alatt rendszeres látogattam a megye szórakozóhelyeit, mely során egyre nagyobb késztetést éreztem, hogy a pult túl oldalán is szeretném kipróbálni magam, megmutatni a zenéről alkotott elképzelésemet a közönségnek.

Ebben az időszakban ismerkedtem meg mentorommal Dj. Ricky-vel, akitől nagyon sokat tanultam, mely dolgok napjainkig kihatnak az életemre. 2002-ben OSZK vizsgát tettem, innentől kezdve hivatalosan is Dj lettem. A kezdetektől fogva mindig valami újat kerestem a zenékben, szerettem kilógni a sorból. Követtem az új külföldi megjelenéseket és toplistákat, mely dalok általában ott is voltak a lemezes táskámban. A szakmában eltöltött évek alatt lehetőségem volt bakelitről pörgetni, ami meghatározó élmény egy Dj életében. A bakelit iránti szeretet a mai napig megmaradt, és átalakult gyűjtőszenvedélyé.

Pár éven keresztül rádiózás, mint új színfolt jött az életemben, itt műsorvezetőként és zenei-szerkesztőként tevékenykedtem. Itt volt egy órás elektronikus zenei műsorom „Vibe-Night” címmel, ami igyekezett bemutatni a clubbereknek az aktuális megjelenéseket és híreket a clubzenei szcénából. A Vibe-Night műsort PhilDeep barátommal havonta 1-szer elvittük a főiskola klubzenére éhes hallgatóinak, ahol szép sikereket ért el. A jelenlegi csapattal már korábban dolgoztunk közösen a méltán híres ClubCrime-ban, ez is egy meghatározó mérföldkő volt nekem.

Nagyobb lélegzetvételű szünet következett, amitől függetlenül nem maradt alább a zenei iránti töretlen szeretett. Az elmúlt évben egy jól sikerült buli után a régi stáb összeült,mely beszélgetés során felvetődött bennünk a kérdés, hogy kezdjünk valamit a megyében tátongó nagy zenei űr betöltésével, innen indult útjára az Electronic Music Hungary. A csapatban alapító tag és zenei arculatért felelős helyet foglalok el.
