PLVS: 

PLVS started Djing in 2001 with a crappy pair of turntables and a bunch of second hand hard- techno vinyls. Born and raised in east Germany was his style of music at the time like his environment, harsh, dirty and fast. After moving to Berlin in 2004, influenced by the thriving club scene of Berlin, his style changed to a smooth but technical style of minimal techno. Now, after several years living in different countries all over Europe and America he found his love in dub techno, which fits perfectly to his new homestead of northern Norway. Simply dark and deep dub chords with a touch of reduced soundscapes, just like a clear winter night under a sky full of northern lights.

My real name is Marco, and I born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1974.
I’m a music lover since kid, with all genres influences, once that from young age, I remember to listen from the deepest fado (my fathers), Herbie Hancock Rockit, 80’s pop music or metal.
In 1996 I turned more into electronic, with main influence of Plastikman sound (albums and his Migmag mix) and other techno / house producers.
Also, the influence of some friends, heavy reggae and dub lovers had helped to define my sound, with some obsession about FX like delay, reverb and filter, and Basic Channel main influence.
I started to around 99 with my first decks, and collecting vinyl, blending deep house vibes, detroit techno, progressive house, tech house, etc. Also explore the possibilities of technology in mixing, as Traktor, as same as produce some original sound. But mainly vinyl addict and trader.

BIO :
Behind the project "Protuberance" is Ivelin Iliev - a producer and DJ from Bulgaria. He found out about electronic music for the first time in the mid-1990s when he first heard Prodigy. In the beginning of the new century, he began organizing underground techno parties with friends. In parallel, he started producing his own music. In 2010, he bought the necessary equipment and maked his own studio. Since then, there have been 4 albums released, one of which is on a CD for the oldest net label in Bulgaria for experimental electronic music Mahorka. His name appears in the dub techno combinations of Cold fiction - Future [e] cho. He also released his own music for various small independent labels. As a producer, he sets no boundaries and experiments in various electronic styles such as ambient, DNB, deep techno and IDM. In 2019, he launched his own series of podcasts entitled "Cryptic vibes" , in which he sets up live shows and streams them on Facebook and Youtube. Like a DJ, the music he uses is a cocktail of dub techno, tech house, deep techno and minimal.
