Madloch's Sound Avenue welcomes back Aeikus, the electronic music project of Brazilian artist Athos Araujo. After first appearing on the label earlier this year with a contribution to Correlation Vol. 8, and more recently presenting an EP on our Crossfade Sounds sublabel, Aeikus now delivers a full four-track collection titled Day With You.

Built around deep techno foundations with subtle dub techno inflections, the EP reflects Aeikus' matured and evolving sound, shaped by more than a decade of experience. His productions carry a strong sense of identity, balancing modern textures with classic roots. Beyond Sound Avenue, Athos has also released on Pedro Capelossi's Refraction Records, Mixcult Digital, Hoomidas, and many more, steadily carving his place in the global underground.

Crossfade Sounds continues its steady flow of deep explorations with the third original EP from Seabra Monkey, entitled The Vinyl God. A long-time contributor to the label, the Dutch artist now delivers a six-track package, highlighted by the originals The Vinyl God, Vulpes Ingenio Caret, Blind Eye, and Vale Vulpi Stultae Finem. Adding further depth to the release, Vulpes Ingenio Caret receives two distinct interpretations from Substak and Francesco Tamburrano, both regulars on the Crossfade roster.

"You Make Me Feel" was the first outtake from Steve Bug's second Poker Flat album "Sensual". Slowly but unmistakebly building up a hypnotic groove with a rolling percussion loop, ice-cold snare and hollering vocal (reminiscent of Gainsbourg's "Bonny and Clyde"), Bug forces you flashing your sharpest dancing routines even before he throws in that distorted, take-no-prisoners, Saunderson-style organ-bassline. Flip over for another version that's served up straightened-out and stripped down yet still manages to come up with a higher percentage of FUNK. Another totally satisfying five star menu for the Poker Flat gourmet.

Montreal duo Flabbergast—aka Guillaume Coutu Dumont and Vincent Lemieux—return to Circus Company, the label where it all began with their debut EP in 2015. Now seasoned veterans of leftfield club experimentation, they deliver Weirdo Active, a two-track vinyl release that distills their signature blend of groove, absurdity, and refined weirdness.

On the A-side, “Timecrowave” is a swung, syncopated burner built around fragmented drum programming, warbled synth textures, and subtly detuned atmospheres. It's a tool that thrives in the in-between moments of a set—unpredictable yet fluid.

On the B-side “Serpentoute,” a slinky groove laced with dubwise processing and modular squelch, maintaining tension through micro-edits and playful FX. Perfect for after-hours transitions or more open-minded floors.

Digital-only tracks “Meat on Bone” and “Tiou de Checheu” push things further into abstract, bumpy terrain—ideal for DJs seeking left-of-center material with character. Following standout releases on Yoyaku, Copier/Coller, and Chapelle XVI, Flabbergast continue to offer up dance music that’s deeply heady, subtly unhinged, and always full of intent.
