Still Cant Feel a Thing

These were some of the last songs I recorded around, or later than, the time of my first album. They were composition experiments in different genres, or flights of fancy, both are true. I wanted to release these songs at some point, but never had a plan or an album to do so.

These songs are over three years old, and I thought I would release them as a compilation, but after revisiting these songs and tweaking them a tad, I viewed them a little differently. I wanted to make them flow from one song to another, even if they were from different genres, and after a playing with sequence a little bit I feel that I achieved that flow I was looking for. It no longer felt like a compilation but a proper sophomore album, to me; whether others agree does not change how I feel. This would be my swan song

It’s definitely not easy trying to 'get over the hump' - dealing with the duality of having a day job unrelated to the dream job of making music for a living - each taking energy and momentum away from the other - thus the feeling of being stuck in the middle (Wednesday) and wanting to escape.  A journey through the struggle to maintain balance, avoid burnout, enjoy the ride and work smarter not harder towards making dreams a reality.
