p/lay/ered ambience is a collaborative presentation between the National Gallery Singapore – organiser of the annual Light to Night Festival – and the NAFA School of Music. Directed by sound artist and lecturer Dayn Ng, these performances feature a multi-faceted sound design by Izharul Haq and Rebecca Tan, coupled with a live improvisatory acoustic performance by Alyssa Loh. Participation from members of the audience is solicited through playback of sound effects, crafted in response to various artworks throughout the photo exhibition at the National Gallery Singapore, Living Pictures Gallery 2.
