“To / Deep” comprises four tracks, two of which –Maintain the Bliss and Head On A Swivel– were previously released as a digital-only EP in 2021. 

Here, Purelink return to form with an updated sound, adding crystalline angularity and dialed precision to their warm, enveloping style.

Thurlow Joyce & Regular Fantasy - Lemon Citrus [Clips - Continuous]

Pomegranate Skies is a new album from me exploring sonic themes of heaven and hell, dualities, split identities, and chaos. The music in this album is a reflection of the ever-constant existential chaos in my mind, reflecting a musical journey through all the different influences and inspirations of genres and electronic music eras throughout my life but also a nod to the amorphous weight of divine weirdness that inspires my music. Music that is reflecting a split identity, music in between cultures. Music that is both good and evil, both sensical and non sensical, both angelic and hellish, secular and divine. Music to give you visions of geographic wonders that don’t really exist. The absurdism of everything from Earth but also of Heaven. Music that doesn’t follow tropes but also sounds familiar. It makes you want to laugh and cry; the in betweenness of everything. Music that makes you want to reach up and taste the pomegranates growing in the skies.

The third offering in our mix series is a live recording of Priori and Cousin's dj set at Sustain Release 2024. Recorded on the last morning between 6am and 1pm on what was meant to be an ambient stage, it featured everything a 3 day festival closing set should. Eclectic picks, strange and emotional sounds, dubious transitions and a few feigned endings. Massive thanks to all the dancers, the Sustain staff (Aurora, Ash and everybody else who put their blood, sweat and tears into this), the music makers, the birds, the stars.

It's been a long time coming. The naff mix series. The first edition is an intimate offering, an entrancing collage from our very own Adam Feingold aka pondlicker.

From the artist :

In this mix I wanted to capture the textures and moods that have been percolating over the last few years leading up to the pondlicker record. A lot of the songs are demos that I’ll get around to releasing soon, hopefully. RIYL mooshy ambient dub, emo folktronica, and wonky guitar loops.

beat play (kink), backwards and forwards, rough n raw wild card pressure from the start with sewn leather to korn at the finish line. 
"Trick or treat motherfucker suck a dick in the street take the gay pill from day 1 save yourself some trouble in the long run”.

B. McQueen’s cocktail of recent vinyl purchases (except for a forthcoming Priori collab) from Paris shops like Syncrophone and Dizonord, and a discogs seller in the UK. Wafty 120 bits, some playful some deep, recorded in Paris on a sunny day in a flat with no sunlight.

In the words of Command D :

Carrying on from some legendary parties before it, the next generation of ravers held 'plur' true to it's og meaning. Young Harry (Peanut) and I had been mixing together and talking about tunes we loved for months leading up to the event. We played in the side room while the morning light slowly poured in, all the homies in the front and gun fingers to the back. Big party mode with some blissy ones, freedom while it lasted, and a fun one to listen back to. Big thanks to everyone who hosted and the dancers!

For those two hours i rly wanted to embrace the picture a glaoting fairies-goblins complete cycle party, imagining the rite would happen in a flowery clearing deep in the middle of a giant firs forest, where those feisty creatures would then ingest some fine nuts and ravishing mushroom and start the ball by giggling swinging hovering around, until the hit arrives and the dance become more frenetic as they progressively mutate into forest parts into soil and roots and bushes, slowly loosing their contour to be part of the whole. The climax would be complete fusion, returning to being particules of the mole, flirting with univers laws, atomic gangbang. Then gently the rite wraps up as they return to their bodies, ultimate shapeshifters, fulfilled from the feeling of shortly having been together one. Return the energy to the ground and the life takes delightfully back its course

the 10th mix in our naffcast series comes from Jasmín. An incredible Amsterdam based dj and producer Jasmín. Here's a few words from the artist herself :

This mix was recorded at home during a heatwave in Amsterdam. The faint voices and warm, slightly distorted drums echo the hazy, feverish heat of humid summers in a city for me. Most of these tracks are older, have been with me for years, and I keep coming back to them. Others are more recent discoveries, found in digital back catalogues.

"little sounds in huge expansive spaces"

This mix was my musical extrapolation of this quote. As I put together the tracks in the mix, the idea of small sounds in big spaces became more metaphysical, as a metaphor for memory and nostalgia. Small, seemingly insignificant events in our past can expand in significance over time, informed by our experiences later on in life, and with our emotions acting as a tool of reverberation, extending their presence in our lives far past their time of occurrence. What begun as a process of selecting tracks that quite literally feature "small sounds in big spaces" soon morphed into a dig into my distant past, to nearly 20 years ago when I first started learning to DJ. I pulled from the mnml tracks that had an important influence on my formative years, their impact can still be heard in the contemporary tracks I play today, all of them bouncing next to each other in this nearly 2hr musical collage.

This is a full live recording from a opening set of Nowadays Nonstop in August.
I was conscious of the texture of sound through the set from dubby, psychedelic to groovy techno/house. Playing at Nowadays is always special and gratefully a lot of people showed up from early hour. I’m glad how it went and to put this out through NAFF mix series. Hope you enjoy!
