They are two musical identities that form a unique blend of techno's cutting-edge. Hodone's raw percussive flair and UFO95's grit were omnipresent earlier this month.

Under the new alias 'Civic Instruction' the pair holds tension like no other. June 1st was a testament to their evolving sound and approach to live sets as they seek to translate their performative chemistry into punching frequencies. Dropping his debut Soma EP, is the Bulgarian based producer THE DEVIANTT. Starting his production journey in 2014, his productions blend heavy bass lines, intricate textures, and emotive atmospheres to create a sound that resonates deeply within techno. His work pushes the boundaries of the genre, crafting immersive soundscapes that are both innovative and timeless. 

Title track 'Indigo' reflects THE DEVIANTT’s main production styles perfectly with stripped backed beats, delicate hypnotism and perfectly weighted atmospheres. 'Avitohol' continues the focus on deep hypnotics and repetition as perfectly crafted synths build the tension throughout. 'Noir' delves down a more melancholic path with haunting melodies playing off against driving, deep rooted percussion. 'Octagon' closes the EP on a deep and Detroit vibe as dubbed out stand push the energy while dystopian pads unnerve throughout the track.

Following on last year‘s 5th volume of ‘Deep Heet‘ series, UK techno‘s front runner Luke Slater committed to cutting-edge, thought-provoking sounds teamed up with renowned names to reassemble tracks from PAS‘ long standing opus and recent releases.

Reassembled features standout contributions from former Ostgut Ton label-mate Len Faki, techno master Chlär, DJs favourite producer Rene Wise, Spanish techno figurehead Oscar Mulero, and Slater himself.

Driving drums, hypnotic vocals, and a subtle acid flair, Berlin-based techno powerhouse Len Faki delivers his reassembled take on ‘Give It Up‘. Chlär reimagines ‘Strange Attractor‘ embodying slick weaving eerie sonic elements and hypnotic vocals. On the second reiteration of ‘Give It Up‘, Len Faki delivers escalated urgency resounding through the track. Following with the prolific Oscar Mulero tweaking timeless sounds of ‘Surface Noise‘. Rene Wise ventures into deeper, darker, less straight-forward territories with Luke Slater‘s 2017 ‘Raid‘ track. Oscar Mulero double downs on ‘Surface Noise‘ with a more raw, more chaotic and experimental version. Focused almost solely on percussive elements of the original track, it‘s an elegance reimagined.

Slater contributes three closing tracks, including Rip The Keys, a housier, glossy techno rendition; Desert Races, transformed into a fast-paced dancefloor cut; and Engage Now To Surface, which plunges into distorted depths to round off the release.

Next up on The Vulged Series are founders @flitstechno & @lassetechno. This duo, performing together on a regular base in the Amsterdam scene, teamed up once more for The Vulged Series. A subtle and steadily building approach, yet driving and energetic, would be the best description of the sound of this duo. Raised in the outskirts of Berlin, Fadi Mohem developed a passion for electronic music at a young age. His studies in Sound Engineering and the subsequent work as a Mix & Recording Engineer improved his technical skills and the sound of his own productions. Instead of following trends, Fadi Mohem always seeks to fulfil his own sound ideals. Influenced by early Detroit Techno and Berlin Dub Techno, Drum & Bass, Dubstep and IDM, he likes to break the frame. He demonstrated all this on his Glitch Club Series debut in 2019, instantly becoming a Glitch favourite.

He is just as impressive across the course of this set as he cooks up an intense ride through his deep affinity with Detroit techno and pumping rhythmics that will leave you out of breath.
