ERDY BAT // STUDIO MIX // JAN 2022

For this installment I didn't go in with any particular plan or direction other than I wanted to start off playing some deeper quirkier stuff I added into my collection recently that for some reason or another never made it on to any show tracklists. Most of the first hour is pretty deep but then I bring in some punchier beats. Some dubby ragga rollers I got from Deekline, some grittier melodic rollers around the hour mark before settling into a techy/ sci-fi/ liquid groove for the second hour. Lots of vibey vocal tunes towards the end. I'm still trying to diagnose an issue with my microphone I thought I had figured out last week, so bear with me. Recording of my radio show of 9th of October 2017 where I played a full two hour vinyl set themed to the typical sounds of Usual Suspects, Universal Project and Vicious Circle from their peak era somewhere between 1999 and 2006. Heavy stomping techno fueled DnB rollers like only they can deliver. Only the closing track is slightly out of theme, just because it mixes so nice with Vessel and has an awesome Blade Runner sample :-) Enjoy!
