This short piece includes sounds recorded by Juno Spacecraft as it entered Jupiter's magnetic field and released by the NASA as Creative Commons... As I just started working this week on piece called either "You're jettison" or "Jettison you" with the theme "orbital revolution". I played tabla (jhaptaal / 10 beat) and added the sound of my late grand parents' old clock. Last week I finished a song that took me two years to make, so it is quite pleasant to make such short piece in a couple days.

Japanese Traditional Gagaku composition recreated with train whistle samples by Naing Naing (列車の笛の音で作った雅楽). This is a excerpt from NAING NAING 29 minutes piece of traveling Washing Machine music : as the song evolves it incorporates train sounds as well and crosses several countries with sounds from Iran, India, China, sea sounds and a length japanese part from which the upload part is extracted. While making this I was very impressed by the precision and accuracy of japanese musicians playing Shō (笙). They can slide up herz by herz !!! (the most precise portamento ever :)) I also included the next part made of train rail squeaking on the sidings. Those delicate melodies are are punctuated by dry and wet No theater percussions. And that part segues into a genuine Bollywood I will upload separately.

Coming from hardcore punk roots, Naing Naing has been developing since 1999 an unique type of musique concrète which has no historical connection with traditional electro-acoustic music : Naing Naing draws his eclectic influences from various types of experimental rock, traditional asian music, hardcore punk, Electronica and even classical music.

Naing Naing is noted for creating whole tracks out of a single source of sound such as frogs, insects, ice cubes in a glass, toothbrushing, washing machine and so on... (Those sounds are turn into catchy drums, bass lines and melodies).

His studio albums are based upon custom microscopic digital sound edition while his live performances just rely on MIDI guitar or finger pads triggering samples.

Naing Naing is the pseudonyme of François L'Homer, formerly guitarist of  Heimat-los (french hardcore pioneers) and Tear of a Doll (hardcore / experimental punk / post hardcore).
