INTERVIEW:
Wie ist das Projekt "Brothers" entstanden bzw. wie habt ihr zu euch gefunden?                

Zueinander gefunden haben wir schon vor ein paar Jahren im Studium und waren auch eigentlich sofort richtig dicke. Die Brothers gibt's nun seit ziemlich genau einem Jahr. Wir haben eine Kippe in der Sonne geraucht nach einer ziemlich gelungenen Clubnacht und einfach gewusst, dass wir das Ding zusammen durchziehen müssen aus gründen maximaler Befriedigung! Alleine auflegen bringt zwar Spaß, zusammen ist es aber wie eine neverending Konfettikanone. Wir haben unsere kleinen Finger miteinander verknotet und ab ging's. 

2. was waren eure schönsten gemeinsamen Erlebnisse bisher?

Abgesehen natürlich von vielen unvergesslichen Gigs zehren wir immer noch von unserem gemeinsamen Tauchen in Thailands Korallenriffen. Wir mögen's ja gerne laut aber diese Welt da unten ist schon auch echt der Wahnsinn. Wir haben uns immer vorgestellt, dass wir auf einem anderen Planeten umherschweben und mit Rochen und Moränen in absoluter Stille gechillt.

3. was kommt als nächstes von euch?
Gerade freuen wir uns erstmal auf die nächste Tal der Verwirrung Sause im Kater Blau, dort werden wir am Sonntag morgen mal testen wie gut die Fensterscheiben vom Heinz Hopper so halten….

4. eure aktuellen lieblingsdjanes/djs?

For ever and for always: Die Black Madonna. Zu ihren Füßen!

Wir haben vor einer Weile mal auf einer Party vor Dave Dinger gespielt und wollten uns nach unserem Set eigentlich ausruhen. Das ging aber leider nicht weil er uns so dermaßen krass in den Arsch getreten hat mit seinem überragenden Set, dass wir danach 2 Tage nicht richtig laufen konnten…

Nomis von der so&so-gang aus leipsch! Übelst feiner Kerl mit herausragendem dark disco sound!

Lucid Dreams by Elo & Cemo

Last month I got invited to play at a hidden location outside of Oslo, Truly a beautiful spot!  I was very happy to be back in my old hometown, to see all my family and friends! 
I'm also thankful for having so many beautiful dancers even though it was a bit cold and rainy! 

Unfortunately it was a faulty recording. For that reason, I decided to record it over so that we all can tune in and reminisce about the great times we had through this set.

There have been times when I’ve thought, ‘Yeah, this is what I want to listen to’, but then you’ll hear something else the next day and go, ‘ah, no I can’t’. I admire that kind of blind faith. Part of me hates people that are blinkered but part of me loves the fact that everything else annoys them other than this one form of art.

Born in the early 80s in Argentina, Mauro Mart from the age of 15 began to venture into the world of music, more precisely Post Punk Psychedelic Rock playing the guitar. At the same time electronic music was attracting more and more attention thanks to bands like Joy Division, New Order, Depeche Mode  , Kraktwerk among others.

After acquiring different knowledge, as many technical , musical ,  DJ Skills and other attributes that make a level artist, he began to take his first steps in his professional career sharing gigs  with great references from the scene such as Adriatique, Audiofly, Lee Buridge , Shall Ocin, Steve Lawler, MANDY and Agoria among others, giving rise later to a completely different concept to the one usually presented, his alter ego Altair, who had his debut on the club with Acid Pauli, one of the most avant-garde djs / producers of the global electronic scene, while releasing different tracks on labels such as Lump Records, Tropical Twista Records among others.

After a long period of musical and artistic growth, in which he has experimented with different genres and paths within music, Mauro Mart presents Naive, his new project full of versatility, handling different sound resources within a range of styles at times totally opposite but with absolute coherence.

Focused on his present and in the continuous search for new and more versatile horizons, Naive is characterized by sharing music with strong influences of the sound of Psychedelic Disco, Italo Disco, Next Wave Acid Punk, Acid House, Electro among other diverse genres. His effort to find music that does not have a defined genre was always his particular quality and characteristic, always in search of different musical gems that incorporate a wide variety of music in genres beyond electronic music.

 

He has released music on labels such as Sinchi Collective, Lassi International , Audio B Rec , Balkan Connection , 3rd Avenue , among others
