naive's 20th release epitomizes what the Lisbon-based label, run by Violet, has become cherished for: imaginative yet timeless, soothing yet moody, melodic yet sonic music. Entitled 'Computer Hermetics', this new record is an EP by UrbnMowgli, a fairly new Berlin-based artist who began releasing music in 2020. We are pleased to premiere the opening track, 'Fast Love Life', a 145 bpm electro-bred, breakbeat-driven emotive dancefloor banger. It features menacing stabs juxtaposed with beautiful pads and acid-drenched arpeggio motifs that lend it a oneiric quality. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for this EP as it comes with some more serious dance floor material!

Soo tbh i don't know DJ Raise aka Andres or Nik, the gang behind the label Sport, in person. I'm not even sure abt their indentity or if they're even real people - they could be androids who make dope beats idk. But i've come to talk with them via email every now and then when they send me promos of their gr8 releases. They're nice bbs and seem to prefer to stay behind the scenes for now (smart move lads, the real world is cruel af). Anyway i feel like i know them in some way just from nice words of appreciation for one another's music - and can i say theirs is legit some of the most beautiful music 4 dance i've heard in the past year. Moulded by rave and breaks, adding such a fresh flava to it, amazing rhythms and percussions and textures. I'm obsessed, so I reached out for a naivetape and they handed this beauty of a soundscape patchwork full of layers and  bleeps and sonix and most especially their track meatpie which i believe is forthcoming and is the utter  bomb (i played it on my dkmtl mix).
