Gianluca Caiati, better known by his stage name Kaiser, is an esteemed DJ specializing in electronic music, particularly in the genre of techno. Born and raised in Southern Italy, Kaiser's journey in the world of music has taken him from his humble beginnings to the city of Berlin, where he currently resides.

Kaiser's talent and dedication did not go unnoticed, and he soon caught the attention of the electronic music scene. His unique style, blending hypnotic rhythms with pulsating basslines, made him a sought-after performer in clubs and festivals across the globe. A true pioneer of the Japanese underground. Witnessing the birth of techno in Japan, he began organising parties in Northern Japan in 1994 and quickly rose to fame after a European debut in 2000. He sculpts raw, unrelenting soundscapes with masterful precision.

Nørbak joins the OUTOFCHARACTER archives with a dark, dreamy shift in temperament. Rather than driving toward pressure or release, episode ten settles into weight, patience and negative space, drawing on a deeper, dub-inflected register of techno to reframe his sound at a lower density. Tracks from Reeko, Private Press and Malin Genie arrive unhurried, built on subtle movement, blurred edges and a careful balance between motion and restraint.

As the mix develops, depth becomes the organising force. Echoed percussion, rolling subs and long-form arrangement take precedence, with Oscar Mulero, Fadi Mohem and Adriana Lopez shaping a sense of slow, intentional assembly. This is one hour of Nørbak focusing inward, highlighting textures and tempos that rarely surface in his regular sets but which remain fundamental to his musical language.
