... My time in the terraria modding community hasn't been all rainbow and sunshine.
That's not to say it's all bad- I've met several wonderful people and learned many valuable life lessons along the way.
But the community's still responsible for taking away much of my innocence and idealistic personality that I used to have.
Not to mention the personal/mental issues I've gotten from it all.
The lyrics you hear in this song are based on some of my more awful experiences with the dramas of the community.
Even after Dokuro has left an important lesson regarding certain things with his leave... some people still never learn, huh?

anyway. no real context behind this track. my mind started wandering quite heavily while i was working on some other music, and i decided to try and sample a variety of my own tracks (WIPs and published stuff) to see what i could throw together, as a creative exercise. gotta get the creativity flowing somehow.

not going on the main account since this is just a sketch - aka, not a track meant to be completed.

for the curious, this contains 'The Killing Wind', 'And Let Slip The Hounds Of War', 'Games Of War', a guitar riff from the upcoming 'Shallow Breath', and two unreleased vocal pieces - 'Our Fortress (Of Smoke And Steel)', and 'The Hammer's Call'. i made the two vocal parts kinda sing in tandem with one another, or i suppose in a sort of call-and-response arrangement.

i like the juxtaposing contrast between the monolithic and many-voiced ignition union theme, ebbing and fading between its own phrases, and the more laid-back and focused summer company theme, singing in (mostly) full sentences. 'The Killing Wind' made for a nice bassy backdrop for this (+ it contains a fragment of 'The Hammer's Call' in and of itself), and the martial themes from the game just seemed to fit the piece's lowkey militaristic vibe.

i spent like... 2 hours hyperfocusing on this track. my bad all,

man. maybe i Do have ADHD.

howdy, i'm Naktigonis, composer/musician extraordinaire! (/s)

basically there's a bunch of really old tracks that i felt no longer represented my style of music really well, and also they were taking up a lot of space and time on my soundcloud (non-premium accounts have a limit on how much music they can upload), so i decided that instead of deleting everything old, i'd just move it all here. then i started extending the gratuity to short audio sketches i'm not satisfied with enough to put on the main channel, and also bad shitposts. consider this a little personal museum of vanities B)

my old music uses mainly AMS (Advanced Mario Sequencer), a simple program based on MPC (Mario Paint Composer, an ancient SNES game) to make my music. except some of the older piano bits, as i play piano myself. 

i moved on to FL Studio 20 at around early 2019. my older music pieces from before that period are now not very representative of my capabilities,  for the most part. this is the reason for the creation of this little side-account.
