Tari

Nakano Kenji, 21 years of age, is a young aspiring bassist here in the local music scene. Japanese born in Singapore, Kenji has been playing the bass extensively throughout his academic life during his Diploma in Music & Audio Technology in Singapore Polytechnic. Also the President of the SP Jazz Band, he has performed numerous times at Esplanade Theatres on the Bay for their annual concerts. Apart from his academic life, he has played in well-known venues around the Singapore circuit such as Crazy Elephant, Hood & Timbrê. 

Apart from music played in the industry, Kenji has also travelled to Bali under a school programme to further study the art of Gamelan music and balinese dances and has written some gamelan music as well as contemporary music.

Graduating from Singapore Polytechnic with a Music & Audio Technology, Kenji is looking to make it big here in Singapore playing bass professionally.
