SOBRE COIOTES E PÁSSAROS
O show na Virada Cultural de 2010, na Galeria Prestes Maia, marcou a “despedida” do Circo Motel dos palcos. Nada de adeus: isolados, os músicos praticaram um verdadeiro retiro espiritual e criativo, dispondo com tranquilidade do tempo e do espaço necessários para a concepção do novo filho.
Produzido, gravado e finalizado no Estúdio Lamparina, em São Paulo, numa parceria com o músico Rafael Montorfano (Eletrogroove, Loungetude 46), Sobre Coiotes e Pássaros sinaliza novos horizontes em suas sete faixas. Como numa regressão rumo aos primórdios do estilo, o grupo agregou elementos de psicodelia e brasilidade à sonoridade roqueira e marginal-contemporânea que caracterizou o EP de estréia (março/09).
Conversando principalmente com o que fizeram nas décadas de 60 e 70 bandas como Rolling Stones, Beatles, Mutantes, Jorge Ben e Tim Maia, os circomotélicos – Felipe Seabra (contrabaixo), Rafael Charnet (guitarra), Rafael Gregorio (voz), Rodrigo Machado (guitarra) e Thiago Coiote (bateria) – amadureceram, mudaram o tom e as ambições.
