When I released the video, I've voluntarily decided to not post this track because, well... It's not *that good*. I'm working on cool and well made compositions, but when it comes to Morshu and his beat-boxing... Well, there isn't much I can do. He's unbeatable.

However, incredibly, a lot of people asked for this, so there you have it.

An Armistice (Blue Womb)

The Kiztatziki is a beast of bulbous, translucent ambery eyes, coarse scales of sky-blue and chartreuse, and of viridescent fins. Lurking beneath the calmer waters of Etrea during the warmer seasons, it stalks below the surface in the shallows, searching for any small prey that falls into the sea, be it animal or humanoid. In winter, the Kiztatziki migrates to the warmer regions of the world, seeking out volcanic underwater streams to keep it warm.

Stories say that the Kiztatziki was once a bigger, more refined creature - an amphibian being formed by some unknown greater powers, it would occasionally roam the land, driving fear into the hearts of shore-dwellers. Nobody knows what happened to the Kiztatziki of stories past, but it is now a mere shadow of its former self. Reduced, it lurks in shallow waters like a tadpole, perhaps awaiting the day when it is remoulded to former glory...

At present day, the most avaricious hunters of the region surrounding Etrea tend to hunt for the vicious Kiztatziki with a plethora of tools crafted specifically for that purpose - from hand-held spears to elaborate harpoon cannons mounted on the bows and aftcastles of the ships.

okay no, the funny 'haha fake OST' joke is getting old at this point, i think.

anyways, as you might've probably guessed it, the theme for the legendary 'kiztatziki' was just the third in a series of elaborate ruses meant to prank the deepwoken community. i posted a fake 'accidentally leaked' track on my side account, passed this 'leak' about, and watched the chaos unfold with glee.

i don't think it worked though! i've lost my touch :(
barely anybody took the bait, and when i took the track down from my archives account (find my cool old stuff here!: https://soundcloud.com/naktigonis-archives ), all public mentions of the 'kiztatziki' seems to have disappeared.

i was at least expecting somebody out there to make a cool lore theory video on it, where they make educated and uneducated guesses at a game they've not yet played. alas.

this does point out a funny aspect of the whole situation, however. imagine if i *had* actually messed up, and accidentally released a real OST piece on one of my official accounts. and nobody would've believed it was real.

A plan without a measure of folly. Immaculate, peerless, unbreakable. In the crucible of chaos, I have future-proofed myself from error and failure. >:)

the joke for this one was that people were speculating there was an 'unknown monster' in agamatsu's deepwoken gameplay video.

that wasn't a monster.
that's part of the scenery, folks. a funny bush, if you will. sorry to ruin your fun.
you think that weird looking thing would make a roar like that? tsch! imagine what the *actual* thing that made the sound look like.

regardless, i figured, 'if the community wants a monster, i'll give them a monster'. so i invented the Kiztatziki. does the name mean anything? not really, it's from a YTP where the words 'tzatziki sauce' are reversed in the middle to make it sound like 'kiztatziki', a nonsensical word.

i did have an absolute blast making this though, thanks for asking ;3c
