A song that has been fifteen years in the making.

What started off as just the bridge (‘I’m falling in love with You’), stayed right there during my move from London to Western Australia. A time when I was broken and weary from life. I share about this season in my book “The Orange Hue”.

It took my move to Melbourne and navigating a very difficult couple of years between 2017 and 2019, during which time I spiralled into anxiety, depression and severe PTSD, before I found myself sitting at my piano and finally finishing the song.

I wanted to write a song that portrays an unending kind of love. One that sticks with you no matter what. What I didn't realise, was that I had to experience that kind of love before being able to write about it.

It is honestly only by the grace of God that I am even here today to share this song in its entirety. I hope it touches your heart. Nx

I’m an Anglo-Indian, raised in Africa where my whole childhood was gearing me towards fulfilling my dream of becoming a world renowned pianist. By the tender age of 18, I was ready. I boarded a plane to London only to discover 4 months later, I was pregnant with my boyfriend’s baby. At the time, it felt as though my dream was over. Now I realise that God had much more in store. There is a far greater depth to sounds and lyrics woven from testimony. It’s an anthem, a declaration to ‘coming out the other side, smelling of smoke but not burned’.
