Nalon (IRE) returns to the label for a full EP release - Talking Trees. 

The Irish newcomer has had a quiet 2021 on the releases front, spending valuable time in his studio making beats and learning new skills, and these new tracks from him certainly show new energy and focus. 

Opening with ‘Abandoned Soul’ wistful FX keeps things interesting like audio fireworks shooting off around you. Warm pads and melodics soon enter to up the energy, as this deep house/melodic tech crossover cut starts to shift up the gears. Mind music that touches your soul. 

Next up, ‘The Trees Can Talk’ strides a much more familiar Detroit tech path. Eerie synth lines, driving percussion and stomping bass combine in the most magical way.

Irish wondered Nalon (IRL) returns to the label with two fresh cuts for 2022. 

One of our favourite finds, Nalon (IRL) has made ASTIR something of a home base to launch his career and we’re glad to host his unique sound that marries melodic techno and deep groovy house. 

Musically complex and soulful, ‘Dissonant Resistance’ takes it’s time to gather pace, but once it does devastation ensues! ‘Misguided Anger’ takes a more progressive path with strong sound design and ethereal vocals to soothe your mind.
