As a matter fact, this record really comes with 2 independent productions. All of them have been created around the song “Sunbelt Regret” by Miss Natnat. In consequence, a great variety awaits the listener: Wolfgang Lohr presents a fascinating fusion of classic song structure and electronic dance rhythms, at one moment it’s a sleek House groove, then again the track is exclusively dedicated to the voice of Miss Natnat. Not exactly a surprise, but again and again exciting. Last but not least there is Artenvielfalt from North Germany. These guys take Miss Natnat into the depths of a highly melodic soundscape, resulting in a deep and mellow groover.

Jedes Genre. Er hat mir alles erklärt. Ich hab mir nicht so viel bei gedacht und weiter Hip-Hop gehört. Irgendwann hat es aber dann angefangen mich zu intressieren..."

Das Spiegelbild ist viel mehr als das seitenverkehrte Bild, welches man von sich betrachtet… Täglich schaut man hinein, doch einem wird viel zu selten bewusst, welcher Wert sich dahinter verbirgt. Selbstzweifel, Ängste und Sorgen bestimmen viel zu häufig unseren Alltag; die Dinge auf die es im Leben ankommt werden viel zu selten gesehen. Hinter jedem Spiegelbild steckt ein Familienmitglied, ein Freund oder ein Seelenverwandter, dessen Betrübtheit sein Umfeld ebenso betrübt  macht und dessen Glück sein Umfeld ebenso glücklich macht. Schlagzeilen, „falsche“ Freunde und das Schaffen einer Existenz beherrschen uns und verschließen unsere Augen vor dem, was wir in unserem Spiegelbild sehen sollten: Einen Menschen, der am Leben ist; der lachen kann und die Chance hat, jeden Tag wunderbare Begegnungen zu erleben. Indem wir der Musik lauschen, können wir den Spiegel zu unserer Seele öffnen. Wichtig ist nicht was wir sehen, sondern wie wir es sehen…
