this is from a 2011 project called ROOM/y, which was a Rumi concept album. all the lyrics are words from Rumi's poem "In the Arc of Your Mallet" translated by Coleman Barks. i was very bad at recording at the time and recorded vocals on like a karaoke mic i got from my mom. I was also listening to a lot of Todd Rundgren and wanted to write melodic pop songs.
