It's quite obvious that the track is about a failed love story. It's about time, actions and self acceptance. I open up with the lines 'what do you expect me to do, with you? Time is moving, time is pushing, what are you holding onto?'  I was basically speaking to myself here.. asking myself what am I holding onto? I was fixated with someone that wasn't even giving me a ledge to hang onto.. I spent a lot of time in this stage of holding onto basically nothing. 
*Tell me you love me then you walk away. it's like you wanted me to change, what is so wrong with me, why can't you be with me, what is it up with me , am I not what I seem to be?*
I mean it was short lived, whatever it wasn't meant to last but I didn't understand that.  I kept asking people if there was ever a chance of us getting back to one and I clearly remember one of them coming back to me and saying, 'maybe if you were sweeter.' I was so confused. What is sweeter? Am I not nice enough? What is up with me? Am I not the person you thought I was?

I basically tried to buy him back by low key spoiling him. wow this is sad.

There is no way I can not  be corny about this. This was genuinely a mistake. Was trying to get an opinion on this.. from freshlikeuhhhhhh but then for some reason whatsapp did a beautiful almost satanic sounding kind of thing. I didn't notice until uhhh asked 'is the twitching part of the track'. And I thought wtf okee let me go hear it- I was mind blown I liked it.

Well, Aarhus is the city that I live and the aarhusians know it as the city of smiles. That's where the first lyric comes from.  I proceed to talk about a person but for some reason this person is lost, lost from me but not the rest of the world.  I go back to talking about my city now. Aarhus rains a damn lot and I miss the sun from Dar es salaam. I beg for the rain to stop and for the sun to shine. Maybe it'll bring happier memories.

well. this is cute. haha. you know sometimes you don't really intend to use some things as lyrics but they just pop to your head and you end up really feeling it. beach sand, East side, the verses are  set in Mbudya.

People who can not say shit to you in person.  you can't trust many really. but this is a lesson that is very hard to learn . with the growing use of social media, the eyes around you increase and it's not necessarily a bad thing until someone misuses social media. 
The worst part about Internet mouths is that they think they are the shit.  Yes, Internet mouth, you are the literal meaning of shit.
