Namenj, is a Nigerian Afropop and Afrobeat singer and songwriter. Ali Jubril Namanjo was born in South West Nigeria, Ibadan Oyo State. He's currently a student of NOUN. While growing up, Namenj developed interest in music while listening to songs by Westlife, Celine Dion and Dan Maraya Jos from the northern part of Nigeria.

In 2012, Namenj started recording songs, But in 2015 He recorded cover of Adekunle Gold's sensastional hit Orente in Hausa Language which catches alot of attention on social media. He speaks Hausa, Yoruba, and English Languages.
