Cocktail On A Balcony

This EP is like a set of small frames from a short film. The title track "Eiji & Fumiko" introduces us to our protagonists: two Japanese guys in a difficult relationship. "Jealousy" represents the feeling that Eiji has for Fumiko, a feeling that even if lived in a playful way will not serve to keep her close to him. Fumiko has in fact decided to leave. Upon receiving the news, Eiji keeps tossing and turning in bed as a constant thought comes to his mind of "Please don't leave me". And in the first light of dawn, while observing the horizon from the balcony, he decides that he must try: he cannot let her go. But just as he decides to set off to run to the airport and stop Fumiko, Eiji finds her letter. She has already left and she is saying goodbye. The final scene sees Eiji sitting on the sofa exactly one month after fumiko's departure, while "When You Left" plays in the background.
