Namhla Mbawuli is a South Africa song-writer, singer and performing artist born and raised in the country’s Eastern Cape Province.

UYINDLELA FT DJ MEQ is her first solo offering after her previous successes working with various top SA house DJ's.

Namhla has collaborated with a variety of House Dj’s such as Msayibo, King P, and Dj Meq providing their rhythmic house beats with both lyrical and vocal content made from a combination of Afro Soul, RnB and Afro Pop influence. Her big “break” in the collaborative front of the music industry occurred in 2015 following a feature on a song titled Boomerang with Metro FM award winning house Dj and music producer, Mobi Dixon. Boomerang was the first track on Mobi’s Live The Music album, an album that won a Metro FM award for best Dance album in 2016.

Namhla is now ready to embark on her solo music career beginning with her much anticipated single featuring DJ Meq titled Uyindlela due for release on the 30th of October 2017. The song remains grounded to Namhla’s rhythmic and commercial house background, whilst infused with a combination of Afro Soul, Afro Pop, RnB, Gospel and even Country music lyrical and vocal content.

2017 was the breakout year for house Artist Namhla Mbawuli who astounded with her debut single, the contagious "Uyindlela". ​Shortly after releasing her single into the market, she was playlisted on numerous stations around SA, interviewed and performed on top stations like Metro FM and TV shows like Yo TV. The response was hypnotic and testament to the ambitious and talented artist Namhla who is, who will not be slowing down at any point


2018 sees her return with her banger house anthem - Risking It All. 
Although Namhla is still actively working on her debut single Uyindlela, Risking It All shows a different side to this versatile artist, and is a perfect summer anthem.

Namhla Mbawuli , is a South Africa song-writer, singer and performing artist born and raised in the country’s Eastern Cape Province. Academically, she possesses a BCom Internal Auditing degree (University of Pretoria), a BCom Business Management degree (UNISA), and a BCom Hons in Business Management degree. 

In  October 2017, Namhla released her debut single as an independent artist titled Uyindlela featuring Dj Meq. The song is fundamentally a commercial house song with some Gospel, Country, and Afro Soul infusion. 

In February 2018, Namhla released her second single titled Risking It All, an EDM centralized song with a catchy african hook. 

Both her singles as an independent artist did very well, bringing Namhla into the direct spotlight of the music industry.  This attraction led to her talent being spotted by TinismDotc0M. A South African record label to which she was signed to in June 2018. After being signed to the label, Namhla released her first cover. A rendition of Rihanna's What Now infused with an authentically African flair, that makes the song resonate with Namhla's unique sound.
