Makina version of the National Anthem of Catalonia "Els Segadors" (The Reapers) I made for the National Day of Catalonia September 11. 
The National Day of Catalonia is the national holiday of Catalonia and is commemorated annually remembering the last defense of Barcelona on September 11, 1714 against the forces that supported the french Bourbon monarchy. This date conmemorates the tragical loss of the succesion war in 1714 and Catalan freedom.

Els Segadors

“Age Is Nothing” is a 160 BPM pensioner power-rave straight outta 1994. Imagine four grandmas in matching tracksuits, basslines rattling their dentures, mobility scooters with subwoofers, and zimmer frames clattering in perfect sync with the Amen break. These elders didn’t come to play dominoes — they came to skank.

Fueled by tea, biscuits, and pure jungle energy, this tune proves rave culture has no expiry date. One drop of the bassline and your nan will start windmilling her walking stick like a glowstick at a South London warehouse party.

A defining year for Delta9 Recordings, 2018 saw great improvement from this label. Delta9 Recordings has continued to drop release after release, drawing from a range of artists to build a hub within drum & bass for the music which has continued to inspire countless artists and fans.

South Africa’s own addition, Krispy, is one of the figures who sets the tone for Delta9 Recordings in 2019. Following a few tunes on a label like The Dreamers Recordings and a huge remix for Lifestyle, he’s set to drop his first destructive EP.

Deadlines EP explores Krispy and his technical ingenuity, beginning the New Year with an undeniable slab of hard-driving bass rhythms which demonstrates his penchant for sonic-driven accuracy. 
‘Deadlines’ presents an A-side which is deep, rolling and unstoppable forward through rattling drum quakes and punching synthesis slicing through the mix, creating an elevated path into the record’s first drop. It’s one which takes you to an incredible and unexpected mind-blowing drop. 
‘Hey Bear’ is delivered in the same stylish fashion, whilst its grooves lie underneath a chaotic bassline. "Hey Bear" becomes more and more overbearing with its rattling weight and keep the dancefloor on fire each time. 
The EP ends with "Angry Waves" which will drive you into crazyness with his fat and dirty bassline. A heavy weapon suitable for each situation, warm up or warmer times of the night.

Each track is a return to form for Delta9 Recordings, with the roster of Delta9 Recordings steadily growing over the past twelve months!

Celebrating Dutty Audio’s 10th anniversary this year and following up on the last remix competition compilation, BTK presents ‘Cataclysm’, a two-track banging EP bringing some of his latest productions. 

BTK teamed up with a Czech vocalist Tomas Kerekes to bring you the EP title track, ‘Cataclysm’; a powerful and thunderous track that will uplift the listener and pave the way for the next track. ‘Alive’ wraps up this latest release encapsulating percussive and raw elements, taking the audience on a more spiritual journey.

Drum and Bass heavily influenced BTK's sound for his techno alias Vinicius Honorio which has also carried back through to his 174 bpm productions. As always, expect further material in the pipeline from BTK across 2020. Watch this space for more to come…
