To be released on New Year's day of the Iranian year 1400, Ubersee Music label head, Namito teams up with the German-Iranian journalist and musician, "Bamdad Esmaili", who celebrates his first ever release! Bamdad masters the traditional Iranian instrument "Santoor" for this collaboration.

Like Namito, Bamdad was evacuated to Germany during the Iran-Iraq war, is known for his tireless journalistic education, about the situation of the refugees in Europe. The track title "Q&A" pays homage to his research and the track itself is an exciting fusion of traditional oriental sounds meets techno!

Once in a while, I play a vinyl-only set with music from the time I used to DJ with the black gold. Last night I played one of those sets at the mighty Hammahalle at Sisyphos Berlin.

Two years ago today 176 innocent passengers of the Ukrainian Airlines flight PS752
were shot down by the Iranian military. The horrific event was so horrific I could not believe
it. The most striking story of the victims was the unimaginable loss, that Hamed Esmailion had to endure.
His wife Parissa and his daughter Reera were in that plane and as a father I was in pure shock.
There was a very deep pain inside my heart that I translated to a track called after his daughter
“Reera”.

I could not release it for the last two years but now I would like to share it with you all, including a very touching
piano version by my dear friend Ulf Kleiner. I will enable the download function and if you can afford it, donate
to the cause of the victims. You will find the link on the track.

Berlin meets Casablanca, this is how you could describe this project by Namito and Brams from Morocco. A chance meeting at the legendary Riverside studio complex in Berlin Kreuzberg lead to them joining forces to make music.

The results are two fresh sounding pieces of positive, almost spiritual house music with no real limits or boundaries. Yto takes you on a journey of colourful soundscapes and hypnotising melodies accompanied by a trademark driving groove from the Berlin based producer with Iranian roots, Namito.

Systematic boss Marc Romboy pulled in two of his favourites on remix duty. Artists he knew he could trust when it came to creating new interpretations of the beautiful original. Ruede Hagelstein and Gabriel Ananda instantly agreed and delivered two outstanding and more importantly, touching new versions of Yto.

And again a true international masterpiece on Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold's label: Iranian maestro Namito joins forces with his close friend Rummy Sharma from Dehli (India) who brought these great gospel vocals from a UK children choir to combine them with Namito's amazing studio skills. The result is an outstanding clubtrack with a very positive vibe, just right to start the Ibiza season. 
Belgian superstar Kolombo not just did a great remix but also found a singer (Ashibah) to add some fantastic new vocals to the track. A true upgrade. Let's not forget our bavarian friends Pele & Shawnecy and their driving remix to put the dancefloor onto a complete different level. A Kling Klong highlight for sure.

Medina showcases Nhii's longtime experience as a producer, tribal shuffling synths try to catch the kick drum surrounded by a dramatic wild east oud pattern. 
As the cherry on the cake, Namito delivers a strong remix of Tsubaki, but sometimes a bassline says more than words, pls HEAR IT LOUD!

Okay, being a huge fan of both The XX and Damon Albarn I found this amazing Gorillaz cover version of XX's "Crystalized" performed live on BBC a while ago and was so stunned by it's magic that I decided to make a club version of it with my studio partner Sierra Sam.
