"Toy" is one of those tracks that kind of just spilled out of me. It’s built around this looping idea that feels almost obsessive—like going back through texts you shouldn’t still be reading.

Sonically, it leans into that lo-fi-adjacent space I love—ghostly textures, soft percussive hits, and a bassline that kind of hums like something unspoken. It’s intimate but distant. Almost like a memory you can’t fully hold onto.

I had this image in mind of being close to someone but already feeling the absence. Like you’re both in the same room, inches apart, but miles away emotionally. That tension—between longing and letting go—kind of became the whole vibe.
