MORE ADVENTURES IN LATIN JAZZ: The Tito Puente composition gets guitarred and feathered.  The actual inspiration for this comes from the Charlie Palmieri version off his 1984 album “A Giant Step”.  So I basically took a piano jam and made it a guitar jam.  Recorded January 2012.  All instruments and drum programming by Namsung.

LATIN JAZZ GUITAR IMPROV SERIES:  A great salsa from the Cuban sonero Monguito recorded in 1979 for the classic SAR record label.  I arranged the “head” of my version by combining various elements of the original recording:  lead vocal, horn section riffs, piano, and tres into one compact guitar piece.  Hopefully it makes sense!  Recorded March 2012.  All instruments and drum programming by Namsung.
