Anna Setton is a Brazilian singer, songwriter with a 15 years old career and has worked with some of the most notorious Brazilian music artists such as Toquinho and João Bosco. 

Released in November  2018, “ANNA SETTON” debut album brings 7 originals songs and some new regards towards 2 great Brazilians standards (Caetano Veloso and Dorival Caymmi) and the notorious Nature Boy that she plays with a surprising arrangement.

It was recorded with the most talented musicians from São Paulo jazz scene and has been produced by the renowned Swami Jr who also produced other distinguished artists’  such as Omara Portuondo (Cuba) and Maria Bethânia (Brazil).

Anna ’s Music is strongly influenced by Jazz and by the richness of Brazilian rhythms (samba, baião, choro, ijexá).

The singer and songwriter from São Paulo is a special figure: she shaped her voice navigating the São Paulo nightlife, travelled the world alongside the great Toquinho for five years, dived into the lakes of jazz, bossa nova and MPB and from there emerged with a fresh, original and vibrant music that she began by presenting, in 2018, on her eponymous debut work, a vehicle for music and ideas that took her out of Brazil and from there to Europe for several concerts as intimate as they were applauded.
In 2020, when the pandemic landed in the world, Anna, eager to stay connected to music and her audience, looked to the guitar as her tool of expression and began a series of weekly lives where she approached the repertoire of the popular songbook, a kind of emotional self-portrait from words and melodies of others. This gave rise to the idea of an album, Onde Mora Meu Coração, which she released last December, a voice and guitar work which includes a duet with living legend Omara Portuondo, a true queen of the Cuban music scene. The artist, who has already stepped on stages in Tokyo, Rome or New York, has now a special concert in Portugal.
