Hollywood Music in Media Awards Nominates Tributum by Nan Avant 2013
Tributum  is composed for Celtic Bagpipes and Chamber Orchestra. This is the edited version with highlights from the original.  The CD, Celebrate World Music was played by the NW Sinfonia conducted by David Sabee, 2011 Grammy Winner for Best Engineered Classical Album.   Tributum begins with an Introduction and an Air performed on the  the Irish Pipes, Uilleann Pipes  by Dr. Eliot Grasso and continues with a March performed on the Great Highland Bagpipes by Kevin Auld.

  On the morning of March 22, 2014 in Oso, Washington, dozens of homes and lives were swept away under a devastating surge of mud and debris. Loved ones and homes  vanished and those who did survive the devastation,  lost everything they had. "Roses For Oso" is an homage to the People of Oso. Bijoux is an orchestral work and a video about the Nebula. Bijoux premiered on Nov 7, 2015 in the Origins: Life and the Universe with the Northwest Sinfonia Orchestra conducted by Grammy awardee, David Sabee. Bijoux, the  video, co-created with filmmaker, Stephen Jablonsky and Nan Avant is a movie synced to the original score by Nan Avant and is also in the IMA's this year.
