Mindspring Music is proud to present Exodus, the latest showcase of psychedelic mid-tempo tunes from Alterra Project. This stunningly pristine 4-track journey is the collaborative effort of three talented producers from England who have their hands in multiple artistic ventures outside of Alterra Project: Dane Andruszko (Okari), Charlie Bartlett (False Identity, Xylem), and Rory Gordziejko (Kwah, Tea Tree). No strangers to the Mindspring imprint, the Exodus EP marks the third release from the trio, following 2017's Turing Test and their sophomore release Holomorphic in 2020. 

A unique and provocative journey, Exodus is an auditory portal into an inverted reality where nothing is quite what it seems, surprises abound, and anything but the expected is to be expected. The funky, squelchy basslines and groovy driving beats provide solid ground to stand on while you safely let your mind navigate the archive of complex and otherworldly soundscapes. As you settle in,  you will be rewarded with tantalizing melodies and mechanical rhythms and futuristic construction. Psychedelic ear candy for all of your imagination.

With this album, Badub brings the honey into your ear. Bees have collected different kinds of nectar from various places back from your childhood. They don’t care what flavor it is - all goes into one big blob, which goes into the melting pot. As a result, the music can taste like any direction. It’s a nice place, where everything flows into everything else – just like honey does – even the song structure. It’s just a beautiful mess. Hopefully this ends peacefully.

The multi-musician that seems to have appeared from a distant fantasy world rather than from northern Germany, will always look for a way to release your inner child. Among his listeners, Badub is known for a diverse mix of genres. As he says, the boundaries of genres could be inflicted with his creativity. And so he abandoned the idea of any rules that might be given to music. With his brave curiosity, Badub will aspire towards new horizons in the name of harmony. This music is not short of musicality though. Badub's Fantasy Jazz seems to organically float into one's ears, touching spots you might have long forgotten about. Cheerful, with a spark of amazedness are we listening to the kind-hearted melodies. Recording Guitar, Bass and Keys, using samples and synths, the sound magician from Hamburg (we will believe he is, for now) creates songs which provoke phantastic memories, forgotten adventures and driving curiosity within us. 

Recognized as a milestone in music history, Badub was present at the burning mountain festival (Switzerland), about 8 years ago, where he had the sudden opportunity to perform live. "I've played songs from my phone onto the function 1, and everybody thought i'm a real DJ." is what he says when he speaks out about the glorious first days of his vivid live career.

Short Bio:   Nanda, a long running Producer, Remix artist and DJ has spent over 20 years steadily pursuing the art of vibrating subwoofers with crystallized sonic frequencies. The music is best described as journey music mixed with deep psychedelic dub, world inspired bass and micro tuned Neuro glitch synth technologies. The sounds are somewhat of a time machine that capture the moments of the ancients revisited through teleportation into the modern complexities of today's electronic music.  Nanda has shared the stage with artists such as Tipper, Freq nasty, Quanta dub, Land switcher, Kalya Scintilla and others. He has remixed artists such as Dessert Dwellers, Minnesota, and world renowned World music pioneer Jai Uttal.  Diverse and with out borders Nanda delivers a unique and original pallet of sound every time.
