Argentinian Dj and producer Juan Manual Fernandez, better known as Juaan, is a young artist in the making with a very particular sound influenced by the timeless hits from the 90s and the vast artistic culture of his country. 
Juan talent and versatility in different styles have allowed him to play in the best events in Argentina and other countries. His own produced tracks have caught the ear of many people and reached the bag of some of the top DJs at the moment.

Kicking off our Live from Dimensions 23' series with a fiery mix from Cartulis' @unai-trotti. This spine-tingling 2-hour recording takes us straight back to Saturday evening at Cosmos, Unai taking the reigns from Raphael Carrau and guiding us into the night with a signature blend of techno, electro, breaks and more.

Ahead of his upcoming outing at Limousine and The Gang on Friday June 14th, hosted by us, dive back into the California-raised Liquid Earth’s previous set at Les Enfants for Subwax showcase.

Filled to the brim with deep tracks, he effortlessly weaves acid wiggles, bumpy basslines and analog grooves.

An accomplished artist, Elias Sternin is a name on the rise. This Uruguayan has, in recent times, become a much more regular fixture around Europe and beyond. With releases for the likes of Cupula Records, Mung Records, LeMaia, and then there is also Elias’ own label Ratiug Recordings. With his sound coming straight from his home country which seems to specialise in acid drenched house and techno Elias is also a very skilled digger. The result of his digging sessions is a refined sound that really sets him a part once he takes control of the DJ booth.

Going straight for the jugular from the off, Elias utilises his full tool kit of raw sine wave synth lines, earthquake inducing basslines, and pitched vocals but there is always a slight curve ball in the percussion. This is where his digging skills and Urugyiuan roots come into play as, regardless of the ferocity of the electronics there is always a little something that is not expected. This is the x-factor that will continue to shine a light on his name. This mix for InSession series is a true testament to this rising star.

Elias Sternin - Trommel InSession 124

This week on the podcast, a mix from friend of the festival and celebrated Cartulis resident Junki Inoue. Born in Tokyo but living in London since 2012, Junki's been an avid record collector from an early-age. Few have bags as deep, something shown by this mix, which happens to be an hour section of his set from Dimensions 2022. It's testament to the timeless sound he's cultivated that you'd never tell.

From Uruguay with more than 18 releases on vinyl and having toured in numerous cities of the world Elías stands out for his serious performance both in production and djing. As a producer and as a record collector he has no style barriers, always finding paths to connect different musical worlds with great coherence. His projects Ratiug Recordings and Teknica are a clear reflection of his genuine commitment to the electronic music scene giving a safe place for artists to express.

PRST Club resident duo Apua and Stipo have been pivotal in the progress of Austria’s underground scene. Regularly being called upon to support the visiting talent to their home city of Vienna, these two rising artists are stars in the making themselves. As well as both artists being part of the Vienna Worldwide collective, Stipo is the founder of the Rhythm Science imprint. 

Having seen what they can do when Stipo was part of our Easter PRST egg-travaganza, we couldn't wait for the pair to join our InSession series. They have not disappointed as they raise the levels from the first track. With the funk dialled up to eleven from the outset, they quickly shift through percussive house, vocal gems, before shifting up a gear with chunky tech house. Regardless of the subgenre, Apua and Stipo always maintain their love of vibe-heavy stunners.
