Nanna Carling is releasing her debut album under her own name inspired by an evening in Paris! The record is released under the record company "Solters Records" and called "That's a Plenty". 
It promises romantic french jazz tunes and hot swing with an authentic sound!

The Swedish soprano saxophonist, singer and composer Nanna Carling has, through hundreds of live performances in just a few years, made herself widely known for her energetic stage presence, crystal-clear musicality and sparkling charisma. 

In recent years, Nanna Carling, together with some of Europe's leading jazz musicians, has created and recorded the album "Melodies for two", a romantic story consisting solely of Nanna's own compositions. Her compositions and sound have gained new color and inspiration, it is music that moves in the late 50s soundscape with contemporary arrangements from the American Andrew Alcocer.  

The first taste from the upcoming album is the single "Since That Day", which will be released on The End Records on October 18, 2024

- It's a tribute to that simple, fun and giggly thing that love does to you. Many of my songs are about processing experiences and feelings. Maybe it's about a significant relationship or a life-changing moment, but "Since That Day" is a bit more straightforward. 
I honestly wrote it with my amazing fiance in mind, he kind of makes everything so easy to love. 


Since That Day

Over the past two years, Nanna Carling has given around 200 acclaimed performances under her own name. In addition to jazz clubs and international jazz festivals, she has also played on summer stages, sing-along evenings and in pride contexts. Nanna's energetic live performances and strong social media presence have earned her a multi-thousand-strong international fanbase.
On Valentine's Day, Melodies for Two is released. It is Nanna's second album, but the first consisting entirely of her own songs. It is an intimate and romantic story about the different stages of love where traditional jazz tones meet a new modern twist, a sound that has given the disc a timeless quality. After the release, touring in Sweden and abroad awaits.

Distinguishing herself as a unique talent and rising star within the traditional jazz scene the Swedish saxophonist, singer and composer, Nanna Carling delivers happy jazz with a high tempo and a touch of Paris. Drawing inspiration from icons like Sidney Bechet, Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday, Nanna delivers the musical traditions of jazz stylishly and passionately to both new fans and established jazz lovers.

She has significant and broad experience of performing on stages in all four corners of the world, and 2022 she released her debut album "That's a plenty" which was named the top 10 most important records of that year in "Gyllene Skivan". When the COVID-19 pandemic paralysed the world,  Nanna started to perform regular live concerts on her social media channels.
Her audience grew quickly and today Nanna has several thousand fans from all over the world.
