Rise Of The Beat King (Shaved Shaggy, Hargmentor)

Second of my two entries for Sample Pack Contest IX (https://samplepackcontest.bandcamp.com/album/sample-pack-contest-ix). This one got 19th out of 71.

"In contrast to the Werebeast ESCAPE one where i more hours working on it than any other song i've ever written....this one was literally just made impulsively at the last minute last 2-3hrs before the deadline! A bit more in tradition with my entries for spc7-8. Surprisingly to myself I am VERY happy with it, and I think it's actually a good concrete show of how much I learned from my first entry with learning renoise, I don't think I'd have been able to pull this off this fast prior to my swtich to renoise, and definitely wouldn't have been able to make this this fast while in the learning process like I was with the werebeast one. Title is a vague reference to Super Monkey Ball 2 and even more obscurely a even vaguer reference to Zapper: One Wicked Cricket (both inspirational soundtracks to me that this vaaguely takes inspiration from). Also the excessive alliterations alludes to my first spc entry ever in spc7! I only now realize I forgot to include the word ""Big"" here, but that's in tradition because I forgot to include the word ""Quirky"" in my spc7 entry too. At least there's a track in this compo literally called ""Team Big"" to make up for it!"

I am FINALLY back with another Lofi song. This one, I had a problem actually categorizing because it technically had too much energy for a Lofi song but it also sounded like one. I just ended up with a "Japanese Style Lofi" song!

This song was inspired and mostly made with a loop I found on the internet. The person who made the loop is Skullxboi, go check out his Insta, he's a pretty talented dude: https://www.instagram.com/skullxboibeats/

This song was actually pretty long in production because of two reasons. Reason 1, when I made the demo loop I had NO idea what to do with it at first. Fortunately, some Japanese musical pieces inspired me. And reason 2 is: I finally graduated Highschool WHOOOOOOOOO partyyyyyy! I had a lot of stuff to do including preparing for the graduation ceremony so I didn't really have much time for music.
