Story Of A Star-Symphonic Orchestra

The song "When Time Runs Out" is a string symphony I was in the middle of composing before my grandmother past away. The song was inspired by "Adagio for Strings" for string ensemble, Op. 11a, by American composer Samuel Barber. Before that point I really did not like the piece since it was so slow. So after it happen I just came back to it and continued writing. Composing this song sooth my greif and is also a gift to her for all she has done for me. I hope you listen to this song and hear the emotions I poured in this piece.

When Time Runs Out 1st Mov-Greif - String Syphomy

The song "When Time Runs Out 2nd Mov-Accepting " is a string symphony that is a continuation of the 1st Movment, "When Time Runs Out 2nd Mov-Greif ". With this song I wanted to make a sad song but at the same time more nostalgic,relief and a touch of happiness. Like the name, Accepting, I want to convey that I am still sad about my grandma's departure yet I am now accepting this fact. I hope you enjoy this piece.

Violent Glass Heart was a very experimental piece, when it comes down to the choice of instruments. I picked two instruments, in my opinion hardly ever get pair up in their own duet.  The piece was fun to make and challenging because the organ is such a powerful instrument and a harp is a soft one. But I wanted to make it work. A Heart's Ballad-Piano Solo

I composed Blissful Waltz because I wanted to make a song that was cheerful. Since a lot of my great songs are not all that cheerful I thought I would try it.  Originally I was going to make it just a string symphony but as I went on it kind of evolved in to more of a string and wind concerto. I think the winds really help compliment the song overall as well. I am very happy with this piece and I hope you enjoy this song too. 

Blissful Waltz- String and Wind Concerto

Duel of the Pianist is probably one of the most experimental pieces I have made. So the goal for this is  have the major tone and minor tone somewhat fighting for dominance in the songs overall medley. Each minor and major tones represent a separate pianist. While trying to fight for dominance, the two medleys unknowingly work to together to make a song that does not feel to disjointed.  This song may not sound to traditional to my other song but I hope you enjoy listening to it.

From Days Long Past was written because I ask my brother what type of song he believes I don't have or not enough of. So He suggested a song that evokes the feeling of longing/reminisce of the past. With that in mind I wanted to make a song that was slower, had several rest in the medley and longer notes. So enjoy this piece I have created.

I wrote the song, A Lone Ghost Boy with the intent to make a song created a mischievous feeling to it. I did not want this song to sound to dark so I had to choose my chords and instruments carefully. After a while it started to remind me of a ghost who wanted to play. But at the same time you can hear when the ghost gets upset as well. I hope you enjoy this piece.
