Through Clod Ensemble's sound design course, I've been messing around with Carl Sagan's 'Pale Blue Dot' speech from 1990 and exploring adding some sounds on the viola d'amore.

Johann Georg Linike - Sonata - F-major - 3rd Movement

This piece is a collage of music and poems on the theme of HOME, new starts in life, moving house and the idea of the soul also being a home.  It started with the poem, 'Konlije' by Olav Hauge, a Norwegian poet, with the exotic rhythms and melodies that derive from the Nynorsk dialect.  'Make a space' is a poem by Naomi, written when she left London and moved to Hastings - you can hear this mixed in throughout the piece.
